Sophie is a Public Relations Manager with diverse experience both agency-side and in-house in the technology, sustainability and humanitarian sectors.
In her previous roles, Sophie has managed multi-channel campaigns for clients including an award-winning women in STEM campaign with Universal Robots and social media campaigns for McLaren Applied’s electric vehicle division.
Sophie enjoys learning languages, having studied Japanese at university, she studied and worked in Japan.
Sophie also recently completed a Master’s in International Journalism at SOAS University, where her research focused on bias in digital open source mapping, online surveillance of marginalised communities and the efficacy of online safe spaces for LGBT+ communities.
Sophie has also worked on awareness campaigns with civil society organisations focused on the impact of technology on human rights, including surveillance, freedom of speech online, and algorithmic bias.
