Finding Infinity in Association with Trillion Fund

Crowdfunding meets Dragon’s Den meets Vogue

On September 4 2012 Finding Infinty disconnected power from the grid and plugged into the sun, for a solar powered party like London had never seen before.

Across three storeys in a Hoxton, London the capitals fashionista and style set gathered to eat, drink, rave and pledge a bit of money to support solar and wind projects on behalf of progressive crowdfunding platform Trillion Fund.

Hosted by Vivienne Westwood and Trillion Fund to bring the hottest party in support of technical innovation and commitment to renewable energy – Off the Grid. None of this would not have been possible without principal partner EcoPlanet Bamboo who helped to power the entire party with a bamboo solar sculpture on the rooftop, bamboo installations through-out, a DJ Booth made out of Bamboo, exhibition display stands and the stylish staff uniforms made from bamboo silk.

The brief:

Business development to find a suitable partner or supporters to help cover some of the operating costs of staging the event and potentially integrating a theme into the production. Assisting the Finding Infinity team with refining and packaging the sponsorship proposition to Ethical Teams network,  promoting the event to a range of Ethical Teams stakeholders and media engagement with the sustainability community in order to drive awareness and ticket sales.

The output:

Secured a major sponsor to help fund the event. Assisted the production team with the theme through sourcing specialist materials. Developed media awareness for the event through Ethical Teams international sustainability channels. Engaged with the clean tech and renewables media community in particular. Generated interest amongst potential guests to participate in the crowdfunding exercise. Managed the major sponsors requirements and ensured they received an adequate return on their investment.
